Spring 21 Runway Trends in Our Closet

by HULA on Feb 24, 2021

Following trends don't necessarily mean you need to buy the latest runway piece or the knock off version you find at fast fashion brands. Sometimes, trends are like clockwork and re-imagined in slightly different ways each time they come back. Here, we have compiled 6 of our favourite elements found on the Spring 21 runways. From the 60s Minis to Anti-Neutral, See how we "follow" trends in our very own way!

See-through Sheer

The sexy romantic. As lockdown eases in Hong Kong, stock your wardrobe with these romantic and sensual see-through tops and dresses for when you're finally allowed to mingle!

The Anti-Neutral

From Balmain to Versace, they're way ahead of the Neutral trend. Ditching browns, beiges, tans and whites completely, bubblegum pink is coming out on top. Play it romantic or Pop, the ball is in your court.

Knitted

Perhaps a trend carried over from the work-from-home attire? We're not just in the cardigan territory, we are seeing comfy knitted polo tops, vests, shorts, skirts... almost anything you can knit with some yarn and needles.

The 60s Minis

The 60s mini skirt is coming back in full swing. Think Mary Quant, disco, peace and love (minus the drugs).

Wide-Legged

Minimalistic and comfy, this wide-legged-silhouette is once again spotted in the Spring 21 fashion showcases. Great for the office and even better for comfort. Wear with a cami to juxtapose the masculinity and to inject some sensuality.

Not-so-groundbreaking Floral

"Floral for spring? Groundbreaking." Like clockwork, here we are again. Spring 21 runway featured romantic and flowy floral dresses coupled with balloon sleeves. We don't care if this upsets the fashion Devil, we want florals for spring!
