HULA has officially returned to The Repulse Bay, to unveil HULA MART, a pop-up on level 1 of the Arcade. To kick off HULA’s 10th anniversary, the brand-new HULA MART debuts HULA NEWS—a gazette filled with brand stories, insider gossip, fun, and games—while the pop-up showcases curated current, archival, and unique products.
Taking over 2,000 square feet, this latest concept peels back the veneer for a raw, warehouse-chic aesthetic that reads less like a shop and more like an exclusive underground fashion market. The look is minimal and monochromatic, letting the bold headliners carry the impact, while HULA's signature slogan — 'I Shop, Therefore I Sell' — is plastered across the beams.
The space brings the newspaper concept to life with a dramatic, full-scale newsheader photo backdrop that anchors the entire visual narrative. Designed as an immersive editorial element, the backdrop expands the print media theme into a physical dimension, inviting visitors to step directly into the front-page story.
The HULA MART experience starts before you even reach the level 1 pop-up. Down on the ground floor, a miniature 55-square-foot space has been radically reworked into a stylised news kiosk with saloon doors, stacked with playful pop designer bags and accessories. Step in a this candy store of delights is the ultimate appetiser to the main event upstairs.
At the kiosk, pick up an inspiring 'Pick Me Up' postcard and send it to the coolest, chicest friend you know — a few positive words of encouragement can turn anyone's day around. Drop it in the miniature postbox and it's sent on demand.
Passing a tip about your favourite pre-owned store, is what best friends do — because sharing is caring.
Open daily from 11am-7pm and running from 25 September til 21 December, the two-spot takeover shows over 400 meticulously curated pieces. From womenswear, bags, accessories, shoes and menswear, the racks are loaded for discovery — and replenished weekly.
