With “I shop, therefore I sell,” we empower our buyers to become sellers. Our Central and Quarry Bay locations welcome sellers to drop off items for sale with prior notification to our consignment team. Our sellers can also opt to be compensated in store credit where we add an extra 10% on top of their income.
How We Sell
HULA’s pre-owned designer goods are curated on our website and stores based on current trends and season. Items are taken on consignment basis only.
What we take:
- CLOTHING - Must be cleaned, and in in good condition and have brand and size tags attached.
- HANDBAGS - HULA mostly only takes high-end luxury branded bags.
- SHOES - We highly curate this category and may only take a small selection of high-end luxury branded shoes in very good condition.
- ACCESSORIES - We take categories such as; scarves, hats and jewellery (fine jewellery accepted only with certification)
Please make sure your items are clean and/or fixed before sending them to us, a minimum of 3 items and maximum of 50 items per drop unless it's Hermès or Chanel. Check here for the list of brands we take. HULA reserves the right to refuse items at any stage during the selling process according to our current data and trends.
What we don't take:
- Very worn, dirty, damaged, stained or musty items
- High street brands: Zara, COS, H&M, Karen Millen, Ted Baker etc
- Regular sportswear: Lululemon, Nike, Adidas (unless a limited edition/ collectable)
- Second labels: Armani Exchange, DKNY, T By Alexander Wang
- Low-mid designer bags & shoes: Coach, Marc by Marc Jacob, Kurt Geiger etc
- Worn shoes (only taken if never worn or worn lightly 1-2 times, unless it is a top selling shoe brand such as Chanel, Dior, Hermès etc.)
- Shoe boxes apart from Chanel or Hermès branded boxes
- Fine jewellery if it’s without the original receipt, certification, GIA or equivalent
- Watches or timepieces
- Items crafted from PVC, patent leather, wood or cork due to their susceptibility to deterioration in Hong Kong’s humid climate
- Smartphone accessories / cases
- Tableware / home ornaments
- Swimwear, underwear, and intimates.
- Counterfeit
Return items
- HULA reserves the right to return received items based on their condition and authenticity.
- The logistical costs associated with the return of items (rejected items or items that the seller requests be returned) will be the responsibility of the seller.

*HULA’s minimum commission fee is 300 HKD. The fee will be automatically applied as an administration fee if the seller removes items within 3 months of listing.
If the seller removes an item within 3 months of listing or drop-off in the case of having agreed, pre-approved pricing, an administration fee of HKD 300 per item will be applied.
Fee's For Early Removals
For handbags or leather goods authenticated by Entrupy (an AI authentication service we partner with), the fee of HKD 300 (or HKD 1000 per Hermès) bag or leather good will also be payable.
Consignment Period
Most items are sold within 3 months of listing. If sellers wish to remove their items from the listing before 3 months, we will charge a 300 HKD administration fee. We waive the administration fee once items have been listed for over 3 months.
If your items are still listed with us after 6 months, it may be featured in one of our seasonal sales. HULA reserves the right to discount items by 10% every 6 months. Chanel and Hermes may be subject to a 5% discount every 6 months. Items may periodically go on sale with the aforementioned discount model.
When do I get Paid?
Your income statements summarising sales from the previous month are emailed on the 10th of every month, and payments will be made at the end of that month. We will ask you for your payment details as soon as you consign with us.

Anti-Counterfeit Policy
Since HULA’s inception, we have been committed to ensuring the best experience for our customers and building HULA’s credibility as a trusted platform. All items undergo rigorous authentication by our highly trained consignment experts and Entrupy, the market-leading standard in authentication globally. This AI-driven software examines bags at a microscopic level and produces a certificate of authenticity that comes with the item when purchased. If any item is found to be counterfeit, we will immediately withdraw it and charge the seller an administration fee of HKD 300 in addition to the Entrupy fee of HKD 300 per handbag or leather good or (HKD 1000 for Hermès) and any necessary expenses incurred (eg. pick up cost). We reserve the right to report the incident to the authorities and may provide them with the Seller’s personal information as per our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
If you are unsure if your item is authentic please do not send them to us unless you are deliberately requesting to have your items authenticated at a fee. We take the authenticity of all our products seriously.
