#FreeBritney is plastered all over the web at the mo. The icon we all know and love has been living under the thumb of her father since 2008 when the conservatorship was approved giving her no control over her assets and life. In light of an awful situation, we want commemorate and celebrate this absolute bombshell by taking trip down memory lane. Britney has been in the public eye ever since her career launched back in the 90s. The naughties, in particular were Britney OBSESSED. With an abundance of number one songs and best-seller hits, Britney has truly become an icon not only for her music but her outfits too. We have decided to look back at some of her best looks over the decades to celebrate all things Britney! We love you B thank you for giving us inspo on the daily.

DENIM ON DENIM WITH JT

I C O N I C. If we are gonna do Britney we need to start with a bang. This look from 2001 is one of the most memorable red carpet looks to date. Birtney and JT rocked the red in more denim than Levi uses daily.. Their look has inspired so many other celeb halloween looks ranging from Katie Perry to Miley Cyrus. They definitely made a statement on this day. As per always, double denim has recently made a revival which we love. Shop some pieces from our website below.

PINK 'N' SEQUINS

For 1999 Teen Choice Awards Britney rocked a pair of baby pink sequin trousers with a matching tank top giving us bubbly fabulousness once again. Any excuse for a sequin and we're there for it!

LEATHERED-UP

If we were to do a complete 180 from the pervious look we would wind up here. This black leather moment was rocked by Britney at the 2002 MTV VMAs showing a more grungy side to her look. Known to be a big fan of a newsboy cap, Britney dressed in a figure-hugging black leather top paired with a matching skirt with a risqué mesh inlay. She is giving us badass it's Britney, bitch vibes.

Just to hit you with another dimension of Britney's style, here we see her in one of her most classically elegant looks to date. 17-year old Britney donned the red carpet of the 1999 Billboard Music Awards in a lilac gown which she paired with a white shawl.
