🌈 BE YOUR OWN RAINBOW! 🌈
OUR FEEL-GOOD COLLECTION
Our feel-good collection has just landed in our Central store & online NOW!
The 'Be your own rainbow' highlight is a collection of bold colours, fun prints, hippie vibes and summery silhouettes. We felt it was important to create something upbeat, fun and firmly rooted in love and hope. As we all know, it hasn't been the easiest period for a lot of people, both in Hong Kong and across the world.
With the fifth wave of Covid-19 taking its toll on Hong Kong and the devastating events that are taking place across the world, it has undoubtedly affected people's mental health. We wanted to utilise the power of colour and the meaning behind the rainbow to create a collection that offers some respite from the stresses of the outside world. The rainbow is a symbol of brighter days ahead, commonly referred to as the beauty after the storm, it represents a sense of togetherness and unity - which is something everyone needs right now.
We asked our Ukrainian model Dana Chereda what colour makes her feel the happiest and why...

"I definitely feel happy when I wear pink. It makes me feel feminine and youthful and I feel most myself when I'm wearing it!"
Not only is the rainbow a symbol of hope but colours themselves have strong connotations attached to them. There is solid evidence that wearing brighter colours help elevate your mood, no matter how subtle. Colour therapy expert Constance Hart, explains how colours affect your psyche, and how individual colours have certain meanings and elements attached to them. For example, wearing orange is supposed to be the best colour to wear to boost your confidence in new social settings and green is considered a bridge colour, a colour that helps create a connection between self and others.
