What Colours To Pair With Fuchsia!
Our 'Be Your Own Rainbow' campaign is centred around bold, bright colours but sometimes it's hard to know what colours to pair them with. So, we have created a weekly segment that will focus on a different colour each week, with some outfit and colour matching inspirations!

The first look is a smart casual look. The fuchsia, Elizabeth and James blazer is the bold, eye-catching piece within this outfit. We have put a simple white vest to go underneath the blazer as it really highlights the bright fuchsia colour. We have chosen to dress this look down to create a cool daytime look, using the complementary colours, lilac and pastel blue. The pastel blue trousers are a great match with fuscia as they're muted enough not to overwhelm the outfit, whilst adding a subtle spring feel. The slit down the front of the trousers adds a little drama which is never a bad thing! We then chose to match the outfit with the lilac Staud bag. The lilac goes with both the pastel blue and the fuchsia creating a nice even harmony with the fuchsia sandwiched between the two pastels.

The second look is a more elevated outfit that pairs dark and light shades of fuchsia with a dark, deep moss green. The Valentino skirt is pleated, which adds shades of light pink running through the skirt which mutes it slightly. This coupled with the deep green top, which is longer on one side means that the top melts over into the skirt. This coupling not only looks good together colour-wise, but the vertical emphasis of the pleats, coupled with the longer side of the top creates a flattering and elongated silhouette. This can be taken one step further by wearing heels! We finished off this look with a patent, bright fuchsia shoulder bag which brings an extra level of edge to the outfit whilst complimenting the colour palette.
