Insider Tips on Timeless Denim from Washi Jeans

This fall is all about denim-ing up! Here are some insider tips from Washi Jeans founder, Hiro Yoshikawa, on finding and maintaining your timeless demin pieces.
The key to picking a good long lasting quality pair of jeans is to choose a non-stretch fabric. Non-stretch fabric has the magic to not only age beautifully, but also bounces back to the original fit with the right washing care, making it more resilient than the other stretchy materials.
1. Keep It Form-Fitting
Patience is a denim virture. Keep wearing it until it breaks in. Your jeans might feel ithgt and even a bit stiff for the first few wears, but after a few wears it will become softer and snug to body frame.
2. Hand Wash Only
The Tender Loving Care treatment is the best way to go after a few months. Rinse your pair of jeans by hand and gently wash it with water without detergent several times. Simply hang dry it after a few washes to allow the jeans to shrink back to the original size.
P.S. You can even wash it during your showers!
