Whose wardrobe would you love to see on HULA?

Carine Roitfeld - she just gets it right and Rihanna, as she never fails to surprise and always pulls it off!

What is your most treasured vintage piece and how did you come across it?

I was in a vintage shop in New York, when my hand swept across the most luxurious fabric! It sort of drew a breath. It was a black kimono-shaped coat, with an exterior layer of mohair and an interior layer of silk, by an unfamiliar designer Zoran. After I did some research I found a New York Times article in 1999 labelling him as ‘Gap for the very rich’ and I felt like a stumbled on an ancient secret.  I find it fascinating how inanimate objects can have such an effect - I could have been describing how I met my other half!

What would be the iconic piece you would search for on HULA?

Jewellery or clutch bags by the late Alexander McQueen.

How would you like to change the world?

I would bioengineer love and empathy that is contagious like flu.
