Justine Lee is a born and bred Californian, now living in Hong Kong, with numerous fashion brands under her belt such as Barney’s New York, Harpers Bazaar, Lane Crawford and currently the Fashion Editor of Tatler Hong Kong.

Who is your favourite designer and why?
Hedi Slimane, Nicolas Ghesquiere and Azzedine Alaia. If I could pick any designer to wear the rest of my life it would probably be Hedi Slimane – his skinny silhouettes at Dior Homme and his grunge rock styles from his late Saint Laurent collections. Ghesquiere’s Balenciaga will forever have a special place in my heart, and need I elaborate on Alaia?

What would be the one iconic designer piece you would search for on HULA?
I’d look for Ghesquiere Balenciaga and would also like to see if I can get my hands on some Raf Simons men’s.

What is the one piece in your wardrobe you can’t live without?
My Saint Laurent leather biker… I never travel without it, and it’s probably my most worn-in jacket.

What is your style advice?
Wear what makes you feel confident. You look the best when you wear what you love and feel good in.

What is your favourite quote?
“I lost 200lbs to fit into suits by Hedi Slimane” – Karl Lagerfeld (Hedi’s that good!)
