The HULA team picked out items they loved, in-store, but didn’t know how to style…
We then asked our in-house stylists for their advice on how to create an outfit with these items
& this is what they came up with…
Helen Chui – Retail Specialist and Operations coordinator
Helen picked out an unlabelled, sheer tunic that has a chinoiserie embroidered panel on the front. It is such a cool piece but it isn’t the easiest item to know how to style. Our in-house stylist, Fernanda paired this unique item with some dark denim Louis Vuitton jeans and a Gucci tank top. The Mandarin collar sits perfectly over the neckline of the tank top and the colours go perfectly with the black sheer fabric as well as the deep orange panel. To make the outfit look chicer, Fernanda chose Celine heels that have an open toe and a gold heel – perfect for both day and night. For the final addition, Fernanda chose a patent black, crocodile-effect Miu Miu bag which compliments the overall outfit and mimics the gold accents throughout.
Daisy Lam – Fashion Manager
Daisy brought in her own, Alexander Mcqueen tulle skirt and she wanted some ideas on what to wear it with. To start with, put a pair of black cycling shorts or black shapewear underneath the skirt as it will look subtle but still ensure you are sufficiently covered. Fernanda then suggested you pair the skirt with a white Alexa Chung shirt, a houndstooth Chanel jacket and a pair of white Celine loafers. The outfit merges both preppy and edgy elements together to create an eye-catching monochromatic outfit. Then, to finish it off, Fernanda added the Chanel black clutch bag for a touch of casualness.
Tiff Tu – Operations Manager
Tiff chose this light green floral Chloe dress. This dress is beautiful but it has quite a lot going on – which can make it feel harder to style. Quite like the green trousers Anson chose, this dress is also the main feature of this outfit. For a more casual look Fernanda styled this dress with a crisp white Alexander Mcqueen Denim jacket and for the shoes went for nude cork platforms. However, if you wanted to elevate this look, you could opt for high heeled pumps to elevate the look. Finally, she paired the outfit with a brown Mulberry X Acne studios tote bag, which is unique in itself yet extremely versatile.

Anson Chan – Affiliate Sales Assistant
Anson chose these Isa Arfen green, wide-leg trousers. These bold trousers are the focus of the outfit, so Fernanda has chosen more simple items to pair with them. For the top, she has chosen a Miu Miu black cardigan which is simple yet feminine with a shorter sleeve that contrasts nicely with the loose fit of the trousers. For the shoes, Fernanda has chosen the Prada pointed mules, which have a bow on top which add a little extra detail to the overall look. Then for the bag, Fernanda chose a black Celine bag with gold accents – creating a sophisticated, laid back look.
